Chandigarh (ABC Live): World Kabbadi League (WKL) is idea mooted by Sukhbir Singh Badal, President of SAD (B) in Chandigarh.

Disclosing his plans for WKL Badal told media that it will be like IPL in cricket and any one can own team after paying price for it. He further disclosed that he is also keen to have a club in proposed WKL.

The Sukhbir Described the motto behind all his exercise is to popularize indigenous game Kabbadi world wide and bring all activities going on worldwide under one umbrella WKL soon.

Talking on Business model of WKL SAD (B) president said he has his talks on WKL with corporate houses situated in Punjab and got encouraging responses from them on WKL issue.

The proposed WKL Will have two version First one will be summer in July, which will be held in abroad most probably in Canada and second one called winter WKL will organize in India.

The Kabaddi association of India and players hailed the decision to create WKL with hopes that it will transform their fate like Indian cricketers.
