Karthikeyan Injured, Sureshwaren Keeps Indian Flag Flying In A1GP Car Race

The A1 Team India is participant in this car race under Karthikeyan’s command but his untimely injury has shattered the morale of team as whole.

Soon ace Indian car racer was taken to hospital where scan showed only soft tissue injury the reports relived team India a bit.

When ABC Live contacted Narain Karthikeyan and asked about this injury, he told that he will still fully hopeful for his participation after physio help and will try to earn some points for A1Team India.

On other side A1 Team India’s rookie driver Parthiv Sureshwaren was asked to take responsibility in absence of ace racer Karthikeyan in Sunday race.

Sureshwaren, who has driven in last February in Sydney, performed his responsibility in best ways in front of best of A1GP racers and bettered than seasoned driver like Johnny Reid of A1 Team New Zealand, Bruno Junqueira of A1 Team Brazil and Michael Ammermuller of A1 Team Germany.

A1 Team India stood 17th in the race. When Karthikeyan was injured he was on qualifying position of 9th and 17th which became void for s rookie driver as per racing rules there fore Sureshwaren was to 22nd position for both races.

India A1 Team India rookie driver Parthiv Sureshwaren says that he is gaining confidence and experience for future and will improve his performance in next races.
