Lalu Runs Indian Rail Where as 9 Fodders Get Jail

Ranchi (ABC Live): New Delhi on Tuesday When Indian Railways Minister Lalu Prasad was delivering his fifth consecutive railways and luring common Indian with his management skills in New Delhi the CBI special court hearing the case of Lalu’s Famed fodder scam delivering its partial decision in newly created state Jharkhand capital Ranchi.

Ranchi (ABC Live): New Delhi on Tuesday When Indian Railways Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was delivering his fifth consecutive railways budget and luring common Indian with his management skills in New Delhi the CBI special court hearing the case of Lalu’s Famed fodder scam delivering its partial decision in newly created state Jharkhand capital Ranchi.

The special court judge, Manoranjan Kavi on Tuesday convicted nine accused while acquitted one named Mahendra Prasad in want of insufficient evidences.

The court delivered its judgment in case RC 27(A)/96-PAT of the 69 cases lodged in connection out of which 31 are in Jharkhand.

The case for which court judgment came was for illegal withdrawal of US $1.73 million from Hazaribagh government account in 1992-93 in the name of fodder for animals.

The world fame US $ 210 million fodder scam was executed in unified Bihar under Lalu Prasad Yadav Tenure as Chief Minister of Bihar. He along with 75 persons was named in different FIRs lodged.

The decisions of all cases related to Lalu Prasad Yadav are still awaited.
