New Delhi (ABC Live): Six crore Commission paid in Bofors Gun Deal, has not yet left the ways of  congress and Former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, even after 23 years.

Again UPA government headed by Congress Party has come under allegation to take Rs 600 crores in another defence deal to sign MR SAM Deal of Rs 10,000crore with Israel Aerospace Industries.

The Indian Government has signed an agreement with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) on 27 February, 2009, to jointly develop medium range surface two air missile (MR SAM) with DRDO.

In routine, under normal conditions, the signed agreement between India and Israel might be termed as a deal in the interest of nation, but the way and the timing of this deal, with firm, which was already blacklisted by Government of India, after finding it indulged in commission pay off in Barak Missile Deal in 2000.

The timing of the deal, on which this deal was signed secretly on 27th February, just two days ago, when Election Commission of India had announced Poll Schedule for Lok Sabha Election i.e. on 2nd March,2009.

After intensive investigation by ABC Live, the deal which was signed secretly and in which Rs 600 crore were paid in the name of business charge (commission), ignoring indigenous developed Akash Missile developed by Defence Research and Development Organisations (DRDO) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) under integrated guided missile development programme.

It is to mention that, the deal with Israeli Company was signed even after DRDO has completed the development of Akash SAM System, and Indian Air Force has already placed order for seven squadrons, which were reduced to two squadrons to accommodate Israeli firm.

The sources inside Indian Air Force told ABC Live that, the earlier order given to DRDO of Seven Squadrons of Akash Missiles was reduced to two squadrons, after getting clearance from it, regarding NOC on IAI agreement, because DRDO was under pressure to sell Akash missile developed by it, as DRDO has already invested $ 120 million, which is the most expensive missile project undertaken by Indian Government in 20th century.

The DRDO had left no options then to issue NOC to Indian Defence Ministry, who was in hurry to sign deal with IAI to jointly develop MR SAM, ignoring indigenous efforts by DRDO to develop and manufacture Akash missile (medium range surface two airs).

When DRDO is trying to sell Akash Missiles not only to Indian Air Force but also other developing nations like Malaysia, Indonesia, etc, the forced acquired no objection certificate from DRDO has torpedoed the all good work done by it in the field of missile technology at the cost of Indian Tax Payer Pockets.

The Israeli company, owned by Israeli Government, IAI has confirmed to ABC live that, Indian Government has asked it to keep this deal secret as its exposure can cancel the deal.

When Company official Spokesperson was asked about his fear regarding cancellation of this contract after new government takeover after elections, the company reaction was very relax, because IAI has already been paid in advance for work that will have to carry out jointly by IAI and DRDO.

The deal which was signed on last days of UPA Government, led by Congress, which lasted for its full term five year, raised the questions over motives and reasons to sign this huge defence deal secretly and quietly after ignoring this deal for over four and half years and simultaneously investing Indian Tax Payer Money into now futile Akash Missile Project.

The files and facts related to MR SAM deal with Israeli Company clearly shows that, initially everyone within Indian Government, Indian air force were delaying the deal on many contexts, the present defence minister, A.K.Antony and his predecessor, Parnab Mukherjee have wrote many time to sideline this project on official record.

But, the situations and conditions which forced Indian Government to swiftly and secretly signed Rs 10,000 crore deal has become the debate issue.

Last not the least the situations which change frequently Indian Present Political Scenario, where everyone in politics has one motto to earn money to invest again it into power politics.
