Former Pak’s CJI family sets Free to Move

Islamabad (ABC Live): The fresh ray of hope for all who have fought for democracy in Pakistan came by recent order of interim government.

Islamabad (ABC Live): The fresh ray of hope for all who have fought for democracy in Pakistan came by recent order of interim government.

According to this order all family member of disposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry were set free from their house arrest just after his removal from Supreme Court on November 2007.

In its earlier order release of lawyers was executed but government is still in fix to release Muhammad Chaudhry and other judges who were under house arrest.

 

As expected from new government lead by PPP and supported by PML-N will reverse all major decisions taken by Musharraf support government. In this reinstallation of Chaudhry as CJI will be a issue to watch in coming days in Pakistan politics.
