Goa Govt. Orders Second Autopsy of British Girl

Panaji,(ABC live): The Goa chief minister Digamber Kamat ordered a second autopsy of British 15 years girl, Scarlette Eden Keeling who was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Anjuna beach in city on February 18.

The local police have registered a case of simple drowning government and not taken it seriously despite the ill fated family of the girl alleged foul play in her death as her dead body was found half naked.

This decision to examination was taken after Scarlette Eden Keeling's family met Goa chief Minister Digamber Kamat on Tuesday.

The chief Minister told ABC Live that if require he will personally supervise the case and ask his senior police officer to investigate the case and report o to him in due course.

It is to mention that earlier a junior rank officer was investigating the case he could not able to satisfied the victim family with his conclusion of simple drowning case.

On other hand Scarlette’s family has expressed satisfaction over second autopsy decision by government but lamented that it came after their met higher authorities. This has shaken them while they all were under traumatic condition on untimely loss of Scarlette Eden Keeling to the family.
