DoT to Auction 1800MHz, 900MHz Spectrum Online on 3rd February 2014

New Delhi (ABC Live): The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has extended the dates related to the auction of spectrum in 1800MHz and 900MHz bands and the auction will be conducted online on URL <dot.abcprocure.com>

Now, the Auction will start on 3^rd February 2014 instead of 23^rd January 2014. The Department had issued an NIA (Notice Inviting Applications) on the 12^th of this month in which it was specifically mentioned that any changes in the Auction Timelines will be communicated through the DoT website and the participants have been requested to monitor the DoT website actively. The revised dates are as follows:

·         Clarifications to NIA                                                   2^nd  January 2014

·         Last date for submission of Applications                   15^th  January 2014

·         Publication of ownership details of Applicants          20^th  January 2014

·         Bidder Ownership Compliance Certificate                23^rd  January 2014

·         Pre-qualification of Bidders                                       25^th  January 2014

·         Last date of Withdrawal of Applications                   27^th  January 2014

·         Final List of bidders                                                   29^th  January 2014

·        Mock Auction                                                             30^th  – 31^st  January 2014

·         Start of the Auction                                                    3^rd  February 2014

Total Spectrum put to Auction is 46 MHz in 900 MHz band and 403.2 MHz in 1800 MHz band. The details of the NIA are available on the website of DoT.
