India Says Yes To Carry on Blackberry Services

New Delhi (ABC Live): New Technology or barred technologies which can serve India better? This question is to answer by Indian government soon while deciding the controversies relating to black berry services in the country.
The D Raja, union communication minister told media in New Delhi that as such Government is not thinking of banning black berry services in India but it will also look into security concern issues related to this wire less data transfer services.
Telecom secretary, Siddartha Behura told ABC live that there is no question of banning black berry in India and assured early solution to this issue in larger interest of nation.
In its efforts to resolve this issue telecom ministry is in serious discussions with Bharti Airtel, Essar, Reliance Communications and Vodafone.
As Indian government denied black berry services license to Tata communications recently this has raised eye brows of many telecom providers in India.
Talking to ABC live official spokesperson of Research in Motion told ABC live that as company is not sought until now asked for such permission in any of the countries where this service is in operation but said they are looking their meeting with Indian authorities to resolve the issue positively.
What is BlackBerry?
The Black berry is research brand of Canadian telecom company Research in Motion (RIM).
The BlackBerry allows users to travel internationally while maintaining wireless connectivity to a full suite of applications including email, Internet, intranet access, phone, MMS, SMS and organizer applications.
Why Banning BlackBerry?
The controversial part of recent issue is that Indian security agencies are asking their access to all data encrypted under BlackBerry services on mobile phones and then decryption at their destinations.
As this service deals with wireless data transfer so there is a great risk involve on security issues those should be addressed properly before reaching at any conclusive decision.
The deadline to ban this service sought by security agencies is end of March.
