Muzaffarnagar (ABC Live): On Tuesday Night Mood in Sisauli was not to surrender but latest from Spot Sent by ABC Live Local Correspondent suggests that on Mahendra Singh Tikait has agreed to surrender before court in Bijnaur today with this promise that government will not oppose his bail in court. But latest development in case has taken U turn when police arrested him in Muzaffarnagar by breaking government promise not to arrest him.

Muzaffarnagar (ABC Live): Mahendra Singh Tikait, a Indian farmers’ leaders under his outfit Bharatiya Kisan Union is facing the tough task to save his prestige once he was caught on wrong foot.

Mahendra Singh Tikait made some casteist remarks on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.

A case was filed against Tikait in Bijnaur Court under different sections of IPC relating to casteist behavior.

The arrest warrant has been issued against by concern court but police could not able to arrest him because of local pressure of his supporters in his home village in Sisauli.

Last night Talikng to Media BKU leader Tikait has pleaded that what he had said about Mayawati is not casteist but it was in local dialect. He further described Mayawati as his daughter and asked apology if some one hurted by his remark.

The loser is surely BKU and Tikait, who once upon the time was the invincible force in west Uttar Pradesh.
