Taking serious note on violence incidences UPA led Government has given green signal to arrest MNS chief Raj Thackeray.

Mumbai(ABC Live):The Security has been tightened in different parts of Maharashtra for the arrest of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray.They have been charged with provoking people to cause riots on regionalism.

An FIR was registered against him on Sunday night under section 153, 153 A, 153 D and 117 of IPC.

Tension grips among people of Maharashtra, some violence has been reported in parts of Nashik Pune, Jalna, Aurangabad and Latur. In some parts public property also has been destroyed.

There is a great amount of resentment among all sections of Indian Society against Mumbai incidences.

Taking serious note on the ramification of these incidences UPA led Government has given green signal to arrest MNS chief Raj Thackeray.

Joint Commissioner of Police K.L Prasad told ABC Live that "The cases have been registered on the basis of certain evidence and arrest is mandatory".

Though police has not disclosed that when he will be arrested, but the government has made all arrangements to meet possible violence and eight companies of paramilitary forces have been called.

Security has been tightened at Vikhroli court where Raj Thackeray will be produced after arrest.
