Jammu & Kashmir May Get Local Hero General Vij As its Governor
Srinagar (ABC Live): The Tenure of present Jammu& Kashmir’s Governor Lt. Gen. S.K. Sinha is ending on June 4 and replacement for him on Indian government top agenda.The top name figured in list of probable is General (Retd.) Nirmal Chander Vij which belongs to state and all full filled the set conditions of home ministry.

The top name figured in list of probable is General (Retd.) Nirmal Chander Vij which belongs to state and all full filled the set conditions of home ministry.
It is to remember that the most troubled state of India has history of most of its governors for Indian former top Civil servants, retired Army generals and Indian intelligence top brasses.
The present incumbent Lt. Gen. S.K. Sinha belongs to the army slot but as now Jammu & Kashmir is passing through a transit period from terrorism to just normal situation position due trans geo global strategic changed positions which forces our neboring nation to take positive steps.
The reliable closes sources in Indian Home ministry shared with ABC Live that Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister,Ghulam Nabi Azad is lobbying for giving extension to Governor Lt. Gen. S.K. Sinha if not for next five years but at lest for next six months so that next assembly elections could be held under him.
The PDP patron and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed is not favoring general Sinha thus making pressure on Indian Government for replacement.
The other candidate for the job is also for Indian army back ground is Gen. (Retd.) S. Padmanabhan but local hero theory has given clear edge to General Nirmal Chander Vij claim.
It is learnt from that Home Ministry has all most work out for Gen. Vij to be crown as next governor of Jammu & Kashmir, the paradise on earth.
Know about General Nirmal Chander Vij
General Nirmal Chander Vij born January 1943, Jammu and studied in local SRML Higher Secondary School.
After passed his senior secondary exams he joined National Defence Academy in 1959 and commissioned in Dogra Regiment on 11 December 1962.
General Vij retired on 31 January 2005 after 42 years of glorious service in Indian Army.
