British Tourist Molested in Kerala

Kerala (ABC Live): An autorickshaw driver and his associate has been arrested for allegedly molesting a UK tourist at Kozhikode in Kerala on Thursday night.

Kerala (ABC News): An autorickshaw driver and his associate has been arrested for allegedly molesting a UK tourist at Kozhikode in Kerala on Thursday night.

Twenty year old British tourist was to go to Thiruvnanthapuram but she mistakenly boarded a wrong bus from Kozhikode.

As soon as she realized that she had boarded a wrong bus she get off the bus and took an autorickshaw to return to Kozhikode. On the way auto driver and another man with him molested her she alleges.

India has become an unsafe destination for foreign tourists. Recently several cases of molestation, rape and murder of foreign tourists has raised the eyebrows.

Earlier 15-year-old British tourist, Scarlette Keeling was found drugged, raped and murdered on South Goa's Anjuna beach; recently an American woman was molested at a temple in Pushkar.

In another case a British freelance journalist was allegedly raped by the owner of the Udaipur guest house where she was staying.
