Shoe Throwing Infection Reaches India, Chidambaram Become First Victim

New Delhi (ABC Live):Indian Home Minister, P Chidambaram faced heat over CBI Clean chit to senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in 1984 Anti Sikh riots, when a journalist thrown a shoe on him while he was addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi.

According to information, journalist named Jarnail Singh, who has thrown his shoe, belongs to Hindi news paper Dainak Jagran, but missed the target as shoe thrower missed at Former US president Bush.

According to ABC Live Correspondent on the spot, Chidambaram responded to shoe attack quickly, which saved him from shoe as he also ducked well before shoe reached near him.

It is to mention that, as Journalist is a Sikh, majority of them are hurt by giving clean chit to senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler accused in 1984 anti-Sikh riots because of not his innocence but for want of witness, who is residing in United States.

Meanwhile Chidambaram and his party congress has forgiven the shoe thrower journalist, Jarnail Singh and he has been let off by the police because  the journalist has regretted the act saying that the way he opted to protest was wrong but he has done this for the right cause.
