Kashmir Singh Touches Indian Soil After 35 Years

Kashmir Singh was in jail on charges of spying in 1972 and sentenced to death for such By Pakistani Courts.
The family of Kashmir Singh did not have any thing about his where about until five years ago when family got a letter written by Kashmir Singh and Pakistan’s Human Right Minister who had met him in Lahore jail recent and put his case in front of president for mercy which Musharraf assented in his recent order.
On other side Kashmir Singh family in Punjab has expressed their happiness over good will gesture of Pakistanis President.
Taking to ABC live Paramjit Kaur, wife of Indian solider thanked President for his act of kindness to his husband and hope it will shape Indo Pakistan relations in more human valued manners than only diplomatic ways.
She further lamented on the treatment given to her family after Kashmir Singh disappearance in 1972 by Indian authorities.
The kashmir Singh has reached on Wagha Borderin india by road, where his family and others with huge media are waiting for him since ealy moring.
