Central investigating agency will present its second report on Nandigram police firing today on Friday to the Calcutta High Court.

New Delhi(ABC Live):Central investigating agency will present its second report on Nandigram police firing today on Friday to the Calcutta High Court.

On March 14, 2007 police fired on a mob of 5000 villagers in which 14 people died and more than 75 people injured during a scuffle between police and local people.

Villagers were restricting the entry of security forces into different villages of Nandigram after the indication of administration to acquire their land for setting up of SEZ.

The High Court has ordered the CBI to make inquiries about the situation that incited the police to open fire.
