New Delhi: The Appu Ghar, a unique wonder place for kids in national capital Delhi is history now when on Sunday it was finally closed because International Trade Promotion Organization did not renew the lease for land further.

This Indian version of Disney land was Inaugurated on 19th November, 1984, by the then Prime Minister, Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, on the occasion of the birthday of his mother and Late Prime Minister late. Indira Gandhi.

As per information to ABC live this land will be use for Supreme Court of India premises and some portion of it has been already allotted to Delhi Metro.

There is great displeasure among common citizens on this closure of Kids place in Capital as most of today Delihites parents are of those years when it was opened in mid eighties.

Parksh Bajaj, a university teacher told ABC Live that “It is bitter decision by Government to close the dream of Former prime minister and iron lady of India Indira Gandhi.”

Sajana Goel a hose wife termed it a blow to middle class entertainment avenues left for common Delhites.

It is big blow to a common man avenue for entertainment as Delhi was left with few low paid public places especially for children.
